Diver Development Part of the role of the Regional Coaching Team is to support members and branches in progressing skills and qualifications. With this in mind the team is putting together a series of day diving, probably at the Farnes,to give potential Dive Leaders and Advanced divers the chance to gain the skills and complete the drills for their next qualification. These dives will be 'dives with a purpose' , not just diving. The team has discovered some unreported cannon that need to be surveyed, additional surveying on a wreck surveyed last year and the completion of 'dive guide' type reports on some of the popular dive sites so visiting divers can be better informed before they dive. These dives are available to all, no prerequisites, but must be booked. More information will be available at Divewise on March 6th, where interested divers can register for the skills and drills they need. |
